The proportion of immigrant-headed households using at least one major welfare program is 33 percent, compared to 19 percent for native households.
The poverty rate for immigrants and their U.S.-born children (under 18) is 17 percent, nearly 50 percent higher than the rate for natives and their children.
34 percent of immigrants lack health insurance, compared to 13 percent of natives. Immigrants and their U.S.-born children account for 71 percent of the increase in the uninsured since 1989.
Immigrants make significant progress over time. But even those who have been here for 20 years are more likely to be in poverty, lack insurance, or use welfare than are natives.
The primary reason for the high rates of immigrant poverty, lack of health insurance, and welfare use is their low education levels, not their legal status or an unwillingness to work.
Of immigrant households, 82 percent have at least one worker compared to 73 percent of native households.
There is a worker present in 78 percent of immigrant households using at least one welfare program.
Immigration accounts for virtually all of the national increase in public school enrollment over the last two decades. In 2007, there were 10.8 million school-age children from immigrant families in the United States.
Immigrants and natives have similar rates of entrepreneurship — 13 percent of natives and 11 percent of immigrants are self-employed.
Recent immigration has had no significant impact on the nation’s age structure. Without the 10.3 million post-2000 immigrants, the average age in America would be virtually unchanged at 36.5 years.

Since January 2004, the President has called for comprehensive immigration reform that would enhance border security, bring illegal aliens out of the shadows, establish a temporary worker program, hold employers accountable for the workers they hire, and facilitate the assimilation of new Americans. The House of Representatives and the Senate passed significant immigration bills in the last Congress but no bill was forwarded to the President for his signature. Immigration enforcement and reform are priorities for the Congress again this session.

The Department of Justice has a major role in enforcing the nation's civil and criminal immigration laws, and the Office of Legal Policy has led the Department's efforts to develop proposals for immigration reform and to advise the White House and the Congress on immigration policy.

Delaware’s Median Household Income Decreased By 8.7 Percent Since 2000. In Delaware, real median householdincome averaged $52,676 over the 2005-2006 period, compared with $57,682 over the 1999-2000 period. Despite strong gains in productivity, workers’ wages are only marginally higher than they were 25 years ago, and nationally, the inflation-adjusted income of a typical American household fell by $962, or 2.0 percent, to $48,201 between 2000 and 2006. [Bureau of the Census, U.S. Department of Commerce, available here. Following Census guidance, this fact sheet compares the two-year average for 1999-2000, the last years of the Clinton administration, to the two-year average for 2005-2006, the most recent two year period for which this data is available, to analyze changes in household income, poverty and health insurance coverage under this Administration. For more information, see the JEC’s August 29, 2007 fact sheet on household income, available here. Note: These and all otherinflation-adjusted dollar amounts found in this fact sheet are expressed in constant 2006 dollars.]Delaware’s Job Growth Under the Current Administration Lags Far Behind Previous Presidents. The currentpresident is competing with his father for the worst job creation record of any president since Herbert Hoover. Since taking office in January 2001, only 5.6 million jobs have been created, as compared with 21.1 million new jobs created during the Clinton administration at the same point in time. In Delaware, only 15,600 new jobs have been created since Bush took office—or 190 new jobs per month—as compared with a total of 72,500 new jobs underClinton—or 860 per month. In particular, the manufacturing sector has been hit hard by the economy under thecurrent Administration, with payrolls nationwide declining by 3.3 million jobs between January 2001 and January2008. [Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor, available here.]                                                                                                    FAMILIES ARE FEELING THE SQUEEZE OF RISING EXPENSES Rising Energy Costs Lead to Higher Gas and Home Heating Prices for Delaware Residents. Rising energy costs are making it more difficult for Delaware families to stretch their household budgets. In March 2001, the average retail price per gallon of gasoline in Delaware was $1.39. The average gas price per gallon is $3.14 as of March 11, 2008.When adjusted for inflation, this represents an increase of 92 percent. At the same time, this winter is expected to hit Delaware families hard, as average home heating costs have risen by 12 percent per household from $817 to $918 in the past year. [Federal Highway Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation, available here; American Automobile Association, available here. Energy Information Administration, U.S. Department of Energy, available here; Bureau of the Census, U.S. Department of Commerce, available here. Home heating costs are calculated using data taken from the Department of Energy data on regional householdheating expenditures, broken down by fuel type, and applying this to data on State-specific usage of each fuel type, provided by the Bureau ofthe Census, to produce a weighted average per household for each State.]            Health Care Premiums in Delaware Are High and Soaring Across the Country. In 2005, the average inflation-adjusted health care premium for family coverage in Alaska was $11,918, while the average premium for individualcoverage was $5,254, reflecting the enormous costs of health care across the nation. Nationwide, the inflation-adjustedaverage monthly premium for family health coverage in the United States rose by 39.7 percent from 2000 to 2005, even as real median household income declined by 2.7 percent over the same period. [Agency for Healthcare Research andQuality, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, available here.]                             Delaware College Tuition Rose 30.1 Percent Since 1999. Delaware parents of college age students have also been hard hit under the current Administration, as inflation-adjusted tuition for Delaware’s four-year public colleges increased 30.1 percent between the 1999-2000 and 2005-2006 school years to $7,305 per year. With that $1,690 increase over just six years, Delaware families are finding it more and more difficult to afford to send their children to
Page 2college, and they are not alone. Nationally, public college tuition has risen at more than double the rate of inflation inrecent years. Between the 1999-2000 and 2005-2006 academic years, average inflation-adjusted tuition and fees atU.S. public colleges and universities increased by 36.3 percent. [Institute of Education Sciences, U.S. Department of Education.Digest of Education Statistics “Average undergraduate tuition and fees and room and board rates charged for full-time students in degree-granting institutions, by type and control of institution and state or jurisdiction”. Child care continues to be ahefty burden on the budgets of Delaware parents, with inflation-adjusted monthly care for an infant averaging $535,and monthly care for two children averaging $1,010.[National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies, availablehere.]                                                                           THE HOUSING CRISIS IS ERODING HOME WEALTH, HURTING THE BROADER ECONOMYThe Subprime Mortgage Crisis Is Impacting All Delaware Homeowners. Under the Bush administration’s watch, unregulated mortgage originators were given financial incentives to sell risky, unaffordable subprime mortgages to vulnerable borrowers. As these adjustable rate mortgages reset to higher rates, the number of families unable to afford their payments and threatened with foreclosure is skyrocketing. In Delaware, mortgages in delinquency have increased from 2,800 in the fourth quarter of 2006 to 3,790 in the fourth quarter of 2007. According to a recent reportpublished by the Joint Economic Committee (JEC), the number of Delaware subprime foreclosures alone will total 3,690 between third quarter 2007 and the end of 2009. [Mortgage Bankers Association, JEC October 25thSubprime Lending Crisis Report, available here.]High Foreclosure Rates Drag Down Neighboring Property Values and Household Wealth. The mortgageforeclosure crisis will have severe costs for Delaware homeowners, not only in direct costs, but in its effect on home values and declining property taxes. According to the JEC, subprime mortgage-related foreclosures will cost Delaware $222 million over the second half of 2007 through the end of 2009. Nationally, the expected economiccosts of forecast foreclosures total nearly $104 billion. Moreover, these numbers do not include the larger effects thatthe foreclosure crisis may have on the economy. Home prices, which drove up consumer spending when they rose earlier this decade, are in decline now, and consumers may begin to draw back on spending, negatively impactingGDP growth. [JEC October 25thSubprime Lending Crisis Report, available here]                                                                                           THE ECONOMIC COST OF THE IRAQ WAR IS STAGGERING The Iraq War Will Cost $36,900 Per Delaware Household. According to the JEC’s recent report, the direct andindirect costs of the Iraq War will be massive, especially if the Bush administration continues to keep large numbers of troops there. Even assuming significant force reductions, the cost of the Iraq War will total $15 billion for Delawaretaxpayers by 2017; the total cost to the country will be an estimated $2.8 trillion. [JEC November 13thIraq War Cost Report, available here.]                       POVERTY REMAINS PERSISTENTLY HIGH In Delaware, 79,000 Residents Were Living in Poverty Over Last Two Years. In Delaware, 79,000 residents were living below the poverty line during the 2005-2006 period, an increase of 8.2 percent over the 1999-2000 period.Unfortunately, this problem is not confined to the adult population as 13.3 percent of Delaware’s children are livingbelow the poverty line. Nationally, 12.3 percent of Americans were living in poverty as of 2006. [Bureau of the Census,U.S. Department of Commerce, available here. See the JEC August 29, 2007 Fact Sheet on Poverty, available here.]                                                                                       THE RANKS OF THE UNINSURED CONTINUE TO GROW Over Last Two Years, 104,000 Delaware Residents Had No Health Insurance. A growing number of Delaware residents are living without health insurance. During the 2005-2006 period, an average of 104,000 Delaware residents—12.2 percent of the state’s population—had no health insurance; this was 33,000 more than during the 1999-2000 period. Furthermore, 11.8 percent of Delaware’s children had no health insurance. Across the country, the number of Americans without health insurance totals 47 million, up 8.6 million since the current Administration took office.[Bureau of the Census, U.S. Department of Commerce, available here. See the JEC August 29, 2007 Fact Sheet on Health Insurance Coverage, available here.]

"5000 of our children in the city of Wilmington live in poverty" Lets do the math...at 3 children per family this comes to over 1600 families living below poverty.

Terry Schooley, Project Director for KIDS COUNT Delaware, and member of the State House of Representatives, released the 5th Edition of the Wilmington KIDS COUNT Fact Book.

Schooley says the numbers show there's still a way to go to give the city's kids what they need, but a lot has been accomplished.

Schooley says while infant mortality stabilizes, the percentage of low birth weight babies remains on the rise, and 34% of the city's 20,000 children live in poverty...Something that just starts the ball rolling.

Lieutenant governor says he is prepared and 'ready to lead this state' as the next governor
http://www.delawareonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071019/NEWS/710190344/1006/NEWS

Carney traced his experience in government -- from his job as a staff assistant to U.S. Sen.
Joe Biden to his work in New Castle County government, as secretary of finance for then-Gov. Tom Carper, and for the past seven years with Gov. Ruth Ann Minner.

"I believe I'm prepared," he said. "I'm ready to lead this state. It comes down to bringing people together -- Democrats, Republicans and independents -- and finding a common vision."
Carney touched on his view of how
Delaware's economy and public education system could be strengthened, two areas he has released policy statements on already.

He wants the Department of Education to encourage and inspire students, by becoming more of a "center for learning," supporting local schools and districts rather than focusing its efforts on regulatory issues.

Stronger schools, he said, will enable the state to attract the kind of businesses the state should encourage in the future -- especially those in science and technology. To increase the number of high-paying technology jobs, the state must develop a well-trained work force and provide a high quality of life for employees of such companies.

"So many manufacturing jobs -- the backbone of our economy for so many years -- are leaving our country and threatening to leave our state," he said. "We're going to fight like mad to keep those jobs in our state. But those decisions will be made in Detroit. We've got to create jobs in science and technology."

Kilroy's Spin
-------------------------------------------------------------------
John Carney is full of shit! He stood in Minner’s shadows all these years and did nothing! He was elected independently of Minner and is not Vice-Governor. He stood by and watch and approved of DSTP with all its consequences beating children for the failures of adults like himself. Soon you'll see John Carney visiting public schools to have his picture taken with you children. This exploitation at it’s best, using kids for personal political gains. John Carney will make sure to get his picture take with a few African-American Students to exploit them. African-American Students particularly males have been screwed by DSTP. Carney will bring up the college SEED Program as if it was his and I suggest you to ask him how he plans to fund it for the next 10 years?

Stronger Schools he says ! Why in the hell didn’t he or doesn't he stand up and tell Minner to give back the 10 million dollars she takes back from state school district for the last 5 years. He turns a blind eye and stays in the shadows of the cracks in her ass refusing to speak out against Minnernomics. Lt. John Carney is not part of the administration because the Lt. Governor is elected independently of the governor. He could speak out against her all time he wanted. But no, John Carney calls Minner his mentor. The only improvement needed in education is getting rid of all Minner's cabinet appointments and those hired by her appointees. It’s like the State of Delaware needs it's colon cleaned out.

We pass mandates on our Schools, yet we forget to pay for the mandates.  We mandated full day Kindergarten.  We did not fund the space for nearly doubling the size of grade k.   Worse yet, the state construction regulations costs us money unecessarily.  The DOE (Dept. of Education) does not allow the districts in growth areas to build ahead in capacity.  This results in a referendum every few years and districts like Caesar Rodney are filled even though schools were just built.  We waste money expanding or rebuilding schools when we could have allowed the district to build properly.

We could list policy after policy which leaches money from the taxpayer because of antiquated regulations which block modern efficient solutions.

We need change, but change will only happen if we demand it.  The special interests demand our money.  Can I get 1000 taxpayers to stand up for the people’s interest?  Your actions today will determine if we have government for the people or government in spite of the people.

In our view the Minner-Carney administration has issued a warrant for the wallets of working families.  They want to tax your commute (eliminate ezpass discounts and double the tolls on SR1 and I95) add a nickel to the price of gas, and hundreds of dollars to the price of a car.  Why, because they wasted our money over the last few years.  Now the trust fund is broke.  The Operating budget has nearly doubled (81%)Delaware is in the Top 5 in per person government expenditure.  Are we in the top 5 of results? Are the schools in the top 5?  No!  Are the roadways and public transportation well managed?  We have bridges falling apart and bus routes that take an 1 1/2 hours to go 4 miles.  Is our economic development the envy of the region?  The only thing that seems to be developing in the Economic development office is a soap opera.  We are losing jobs by the thousands and the only net job gain has been in government (while the nation has added millions of jobs).  Are the prisons models of efficiency?  Look at the prison health care scandal.

Does anyone really believe we are getting our money’s worth?

If you do, let’s talk.

We have run the transportation trust fund into the ground by raiding road money for administrative salaries.  We have made tens of millions in unnecessary land purchases such as the $5,000,000 Garrison’s lake Golf Course.  We spent more tens of millions on the pork barrel raid by Sec. Hayward during his final hours as transportation chief.  We keep the old Saint George’s Bridge when the Army Corp of Engineers was going to destroy it for us since they built us a nice new bridge right next to it–another $40,000,000.  We build the SR1 Dover SR8 connector so travelers could enter center city Dover from Route 1 at the behest of downtown merchants.  We built a south one that goes to south Dover and not just the Air Base.  Great! So why are we trying to spend millions more on one residents oppose which is less than one mile from the south Dover one?

In the mean time the SR1 Indian River bridge is falling apart, literally (safety flags are being raised).  This bridge is vital for our tourism industry.  What type of priority management is that?

We pass mandates on our Schools, yet we forget to pay for the mandates.  We mandated full day Kindergarten.  We did not fund the space for nearly doubling the size of grade k.   Worse yet, the state construction regulations costs us money unecessarily.  The DOE (Dept. of Education) does not allow the districts in growth areas to build ahead in capacity.  This results in a referendum every few years and districts like Caesar Rodney are filled even though schools were just built.  We waste money expanding or rebuilding schools when we could have allowed the district to build properly.

Friday, February 24, 2006 Property Tax Increase in NCCo? The News Journal reported a few weeks ago that County Execute Chris Coons is considering a large tax increase to head off a projected deficit in the coming years. The county has dipped into cash reserves to balance the last three budgets, using about $38 million to plug the budget gap. At that rate, cash reserves will be gone by 2009, and a property tax increase of up to 60 percent would be needed to make ends meet, Coons said.
...
Coons said he could play politics and "squeeze down costs and services, run the clock out to 2008 and let the next county executive deal with it."

"But I think the responsible thing to do is have a discussion with council and the public about what's the best balance between services and costs," said Coons, a Democrat whose term expires in 2008

VOTE FOR ROB FORAKERThe development of standard identification cards under the governmentwide Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 initiative is supposed to help provide security in a cost-efficient manner. But the Internal Revenue Service, the lead for the Treasury Department’s implementation of HSPD-12, wasted $3.5 million on unnecessary hardware, software and services in its early efforts because of poor management and oversight, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) said.

I respect their visions on crime. Why isn't this being done already :?:  I've never seen any candidate in public or involved in their own community. All the candidates are from Newcastle. Did you ever go to the Farmers Market or ride through  Wilton :?:  Panhandlers are everywhere in  Newcastle. By concentrating on funding for children programs where the effects won't be known for years, the present crime situation doesn't get solved. How long can Candidates say their going to do something when history shows this is a right out lie. realisIe they don't want to bring the present because their past will prove to neglect..

Today the world is still at war, our safety is constantly in jeopardy. Our lives are constantly interrupted with news of war, shootings and violence every minute of everday. We are led to believe that people are out to do us harm such as terrorists. I,ve never publically commented on our president before but I do feel it’s time. I see a chemical imbalance in George Bush’s eyes. I’ve been around this before I trust my instinct. Now our candidates for president pose a different problem. The Obama Movement is a false idealistic manipulation of our young which will cause problems for generations to come. Hillary Clinton is a star being her draw of people to her campaign. She carrys the problem of Bill being a sexual magnet catching the eyes of wanna be presidential aids. Our people are governed by a minority the majority isn’t paying attention this nonsense. Our elected officials take advantage of people’s lack of interest in the voting process and often abuse this power.True representation as a thing of the past

Al Mascitti, My eyes don’t see
color…Do you have any idea of how
much crime or criminal acts go
unreported? Our college kids are
rebelling against their own friends,
street dealers are shooting each
other. Then we have an evangelistic
candidate for president preaching
hope to our kids. When this man
gets elected our kids are going to
be forgot about. Obama’s let down
will come and the effect will be
across the country. I listen to your
words Al and you tend to repeat
yourself as with Blue Wind..when
the project first became popular in
the news months ago 90% of the
people knew about it. Now 90%
know about it. All news media
reaches only 30% of the public. to
say this is a misbelief. Then come
the candidates for Delaware, the top
candidates are given free reigns in
the news media. Your station
favoring these candidates while
giving a views disclaimer to the
public. I’m not sore about this
mainly because my movement will
challenge the idealistic
manipulation of the public. I won.t
bother you with my public
embarrassment but I will listen to
you embarrass yourself

Hello, I want to bring your attention back to the Delaware State Hospital in Newcastle. After all the publicity about patient abuse. Our candidates for Governor got some publicity from this event also. The promise of lighting, cameras andI attendance was public. I was driving from Wilmington on the RT13 passing the hospital ....I noticed absolutely no working street lights the length of the property and poor lighting  inside the gates. Now this embarrassing to a few people. I,m guessing by putting the entire community in a dangerous position including the patients. This property looks like the haunted house on Halloween. Please put the hospital back in the news. Apparently this is the only time our forces come together. Please take this letter seriously, I will be available at 302-750-1357....I want results not excuses....

John Carney's plan for the future of Delaware dances around the  Dupont name. Maybe we can all get a job at Duponts.

John Carney's website includes his future plan for public safety by keeping an existing movement in place. The policing of parolies and probation is already an existing program and has been for many years. I see nothing new in his plan for Governor 2008. Again I'm not impressed.

Bluewater Wind project variables are too shifty

The Bluewater wind project is indeed a waste of Delaware's time. Listening to a gentleman on WDEL radio representing Bluewater Wind I was taken by a few remarks. The gentleman was caught in a lie or misbelief. He said 90 percent of the public had heard this project. The announcer broke in and replied how farfetched this statement was. The gentleman then continued his sales pitch for Bluewater.

My opinion of this project does not in any way deflate the need for technology. There is a need for new technology. The cost of this project, which involves a 25-year agreement to provide electricity to Delmarva Power, far outweighs the outcome.

Twenty-five years is maybe the lifespan of some people. Half of one's lifetime maybe? Your electric bills will never be lower. You are locked in for life. How much does this company stand to profit?

The Bluewater wind project sounds a little shifty to me

My involvement in the historic 2008 elections will remain as part of Delaware's future. My position will provide more insight into our communities of Delaware. We the People have a right to live our lives without fear or prosecution, Our rights to privacy without fear is number one. We have the right to enjoy our life in the sanctity of our homes without fear of crime and terrorism. The Public Party will be the backbone to our future. We will be as our name applies PUBLIC meaning we will affect the lives of people everyday providing safety measures, cameras, and peace of mind to all. Public meaning the media is constantly updated of our actions in the state of Delaware. "The nation will watch the Public Party excel into government"

I believe our present local leaders fail to meet the standards of influential leaders. Our standard of living continues to decline The Blue Water wind project is indeed a waste of Delaware's time. Listening to a gentlemam on WDEL radio representing Blue water Wind I was taken by a few remarks said. The gentleman was caught in a lie or misbelief. He had said 90% of the public heard this project. The announcer broke in and replied how far fetched this statement was. The gentleman then continued to sell his sales pitch for Blue water.

My opinion of this project does not in any way deflate the need for technology there is a need for new technology. The cost of this project far out weighs the outcome. 25 years is maybe the life span of  some people? Half of ones lifetime maybe? Your electric bills will never be lower....you are locked in for life...I urge you to think about this. The spokesman for this project didn't impress me because I'm in a position where the whole picture is visible. How much does this company stand to profit?

Blue water's investers would only invest if there was some kind of state control on future investment. The public in general is not a trusted partner endevor but a catayist to sell this technology. The investers won't make this available to the average consumer. The length of time of results on this project  far outweighs it's practicality. If everyone turned out the lights every night for 25 years they would also see savings. If we put money in the bank for 25 years we would see interest gained or by a 25 year term life insurance policy. The obvious is indeed being missed by all political partys. We don't have to sacrifice our freedom of choice. We don't have to sell our lives to any one idea.

Now when shifty used car salesmen sell us a car we're aware of impropieties or the nature of the salesman. The Blue Water Wind Project Does sound a little shifty to me.

My actions taken yesterday on WDEL were just...This kind of news is false or distorts the real truth. The poll taken by a college was distorted. by a announcer. Are we in a Communist Society where the news only reports on specific topics rather the whole news. Report only two thirds of a story. All the public hears is one sided opinions from what supposed to be an informational source for the public.

Delaware is in crisis, many of our citizens don't have the needs to live a normal existence. Many are destitute, homeless or poor. Many services allotted by Delaware tend to exclude these people. In turn these people turn into burdens for communities across the state. Often drugs and prostitution become assets a means to survival. Most of the population have admitted to using some kind of drug either in the past or on a regular bases. Many families turn generations of children into users and dealers. You have to read the story below to have a first hand observation on living this kind of life.

"Our quality of life is poor" Food banks are continuously being a means of survival for a large part of our population. Yes hunger exists in Delaware and our backyards. My guess is that our elected officials are aware of these problems but offer no solutions because no answers are forthcoming. (Much of our Public is completely out of this loop being elections, politicians and government) While some smile others frown.

"Our healthcare system fails to involve the population"  Free healthcare should be a reality rather than a dream. Every American should have the right to choose our own doctors and hospitals. Our promise is to provide healthcare for all residents of Delaware. This includes treatment for fatal diseases such as cancer, I believe everyone should be informed of all treatments and should be made available.

"Our Illegal Immigrants should have the right of citizenship"  Our governments tend to politicise the effort without doing anything to solve the problem. Our boarders remain open so should citizenship. Our hard working immigrants should have citizenship without the threat of deportation. The tax base will provide the State of Delaware with funds to keep the economy fluid.

Delaware Blunders

The Public Party believes in open Government. Our goal is to give more choice to voters. The thinking of our present leaders has to change,

My ideas on making our government work for everyone will change the impressions of our leaders. Our schools become more violent everyday. Our kids want guidance from parents, teachers and local leaders. Our parents need to become involved in schools. Our schools need to be involved with parents. Funding programs for better schools is essential to our future.

HOME > Local Governor hopeful switches parties Pizza guy Foraker lists with Independent Party By BETH MILLER, The News Journal Posted Wednesday, August 22, 2007 Robert Foraker switched to the Independent Party to avoid a primary. Robert Foraker of New Castle, a pizza delivery man and gubernatorial candidate, on Tuesday filed papers with the Commissioner of Elections to change his party affiliation from the Democratic Party to the Independent Party of Delaware.

Foraker hopes the move will allow him to avoid a primary. As a Democrat, he would have faced Lt. Gov. John C. Carney Jr. and State Treasurer Jack Markell, both of whom are running for governor.

"Some of it is so I can get around the primary idea," Foraker said. "I can run on their ticket unless they come up with a candidate. And I feel the Independent Party represents my views a lot better."

Frank Sims, chairman of the Independent Party of Delaware, said he did not know much about Foraker, "but we encourage people to self-nominate," he said. "Then we know their true intentions."

A primary in the Independent Party would be "a dream," Sims said. "We'll discuss the platform and the issues later on, probably not until March of next year
